Broadband provider, Community Fibre, reduces business process handling times by 85% using Power Automate

Memphis-Shelby County Schools drive educational excellence with Microsoft Power Platform

San Francisco Police Department saves officers hundreds of hours per month with Microsoft Power Platform

The San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) addressed the challenge of updating stolen vehicle records efficiently by leveraging Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate. Recognizing the need to streamline the reporting process for recovered vehicles, SFPD developed an app called RESTVOS (Returning Stolen Vehicle to Owner System) using Power Apps. With this app, officers could instantly update vehicle status in the field, reducing the reporting time from hours to just minutes. By collaborating with Microsoft and utilizing Microsoft Power Platform low-code capabilities, SFPD saved approximately 500 officer hours per month and improved public trust by ensuring timely and accurate information on recovered vehicles. Beyond vehicle reporting, SFPD plans to expand its use of Microsoft Power Platform to enhance internal processes and public services further, showcasing the platform’s versatility and potential for innovation in law enforcement.
